Sri Lanka,

In late 2004, a Tsunami hit the little Island of Sri Lanka located
off the southeast coast of India. Over 35,000 lost their lives as the
huge wave washed across their land. Following this devastation, we were
led by God’s Spirit into an arena we had never entered before.
Over the last 30 months, since that disaster, we have spent $710,616
on this tiny island. An entire village has been built _ SAMAGAMA _ which
means “Peaceful Village” _ housing over 60 families who
lost their homes and all their possessions, as well as family members.
A Montessori School, Community Center and 7 business shops have also
been constructed and water wells are being dug.
The final step is to get electricity to the village. Necessary government
process has been slow. The completion of this project is uncertain at
this time. This is vital and needs to be at the top of our prayers.
