Bread For A Hungry World was incorporated June 11, 1984 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. It is managed by a Board of Directors. The number of Directors at this time is 18.

Its mission statement is "Bread For a Hungry World exists to share the love of Jesus by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of hurting people worldwide."

Bread is a tree of volunteers with many branches here and around the world with no full-time employees. This ministry only works in areas of the world where we have an opportunity for spiritual follow up. This enables us always to go for the double blessing, not only helping people with temporal supplies necessary to physical well being but providing the Bread of Life as well.
